Pin grading

Keep in mind that enamel pins are a handmade product and each one is unique. Although I guarantee that I check every pin to ensure its quality, there's no such thing as a perfect pin.
Please read the guide bellow before buying.

A Grade

These are the best quality pins I offer. Be aware that they may have minor imperfections that are not noticeable at plan sight:
  • Minor scratches on metal/enamel
  • Small dots or bubbles on the pin
  • Slightly misaligned screenprinting (possibly something that only I, as the designer of the pins, notice)
  • Larger imperfections on the back of the pin (never on the front)
B Grade

These pins have different imperfections I consider important enough to be sold at a discounted price, even if these are still pretty at plain sight:

  • Minnor defects on important areas (like the face)
  • Noticeable scratches on metal/enamel
  • Wrong color on not important or small areas that are not noticeabe at first sight
C Grade

These pins have bigger imperfections or a combination of the ones mentioned before and are noticeable at plain sight. Some of these could be:

  • Major defects on important areas (like the face)
  • Completely unfilled enamel areas
  • Oxidation of the metal
  • Bent pin needle on the back
